Great CPU. Paired with a Asus Prime 9070XT and gaming at 1440p, mostly high/ultra settings. The CPU performs well and stays relatively cool, rarely getting above 75-80c. Recommended, one of the best 'bang for buck' CPUs available IMO.

Ordered a new 9700x from PC Tec to move my (mainly gaming) system to AMD and away Intel, intended as an upgrade but also to escape potential Intel 13/14th Gen instability issues if kept on the same LGA1700 platform as before.

Service and communication from Safwaan has been great and fully deserving of the 5 stars. Kept me updated on order progress/delivery and showed genuine interest in how things were going with the PC build and offered advice. So hopefully this review gives someone confidence to order with PC Tec.

As for the 9700x, it’s certainly an upgrade from the i5 that was struggling to keep up with my GPU. Benefited from a few BIOS tweaks and Windows optimisations but is now properly purring along and stable. For my needs, I really want a consistent and responsive processor and the 9700x hits the mark. Plus, with now being on AM5 it gives the opportunity to upgrade to an X3D or Zen 6 later down the line. So probably not the last order I’ll place with PC Tec.

The day before my son's 16th birthday I discovered that Amazon had lost my delivery from an order the week before of his new processor. I ordered from PC Tec. I called them because I was anxious about the delivery and they assured me it was being sent that day. It arrived the following day. It was packaged securely and is perfect. We built the new pc together and now I can't get him off it as he plays new games that didn't run on the old processor.
A wonderful service at a good price, and you saved my sons 16th. Thank you
