1. Are the processors new or used?
All processors listed are brand new and unused, unless clearly stated otherwise.
2. Is this processor compatible with my motherboard?
If you're unsure whether a processor is compatible with your current or intended motherboard, you can look up the socket type of both models online. Alternatively, feel free to contact us — we're happy to help!
3. Does the processor come with a cooler/fan included?
No, our processors do not come with a CPU cooler.
4. What is the warranty period for this processor?
Every processor comes with a 30-day warranty from the date of delivery as standard.
5. Why only a 30-day warranty?
To keep prices as competitive as possible, we offer a 30-day warranty rather than a longer one. That said, CPUs are among the most reliable PC components with extremely low failure rates. We encourage customers to stress test the processor thoroughly upon receipt to ensure it functions perfectly. You can read more about our warranty policy here.
6. What if the processor doesn’t work with my setup?

7. Is thermal paste included in the package?
Yes — each processor comes with enough thermal paste for one application. It’s a fairly high-quality paste that should save you from needing to buy separate thermal compound.
8. How do I know if this processor is better than the one I currently have?
There are plenty of useful resources online, such as YouTube and comparison reviews. Simply search your current CPU and the one you're interested in to see performance benchmarks based on your use case (resolution & GPU configuration).
9. Is this processor good for gaming or productivity?
All our processors offer solid performance for gaming. For productivity or content creation, pay close attention to the number of cores and threads, which directly impact performance.

10. Can I use this processor for streaming and multitasking?
Absolutely — just ensure the processor you choose has enough power to handle your workload. Streaming and multitasking demand more cores and threads, so do your research. YouTube and Reddit are great places to find real-world tests and advice.
11. How long does shipping take, and is it insured?
Shipping typically takes between 1–2 working days, but delays can happen. All orders are fully insured and trackable. For more details, check out our shipping policy.
12. Do you offer technical support for installation?
While we don’t offer hands-on support, we’re happy to provide guidance. We strongly recommend watching multiple installation tutorials to become familiar with the process before attempting it — it’s easier than it looks once you understand the steps.
13. Are there any discounts for bulk purchases?
Unfortunately, we do not offer bulk discounts at this time.
14. Can I track my order after purchase?
Yes — you’ll receive tracking information once your order is dispatched. You can use this to manage your delivery directly via Royal Mail’s website.
15. Do you offer installation services or PC component bundles?
No, we currently do not offer installation services or bundle deals. All items are sold individually.
16. I want a specific processor that’s not listed — can you source it?
Possibly! If you're after a model not listed on our site, contact us and we’ll check availability. While we aim to offer only what we can source at good prices, we’re happy to explore special requests.
17. Is PC Tec UK VAT registered?
