FAQ
1. Are the processors new or used?
All processors listed are brand new & unused unless stated otherwise.
2. Is this processor compatible with my motherboard?
If you are unsure whether the processor that you're interested is compatible with your motherboard or the motherboard that you're intending to get, you can search up the model to see its socket type. Alternatively, you can contact us and we can help you with this.
3. Does the processor come with a cooler/fan included?
Our processors do not come with a CPU cooler.
4. What is the warranty period for this processor?
All our processors come with a 6 months warranty from the date of delivery as standard.
5. Why do the processors only come with a 6 month warranty and not 1 year?
The simple answer is: cost. In order to keep prices as low as possible and be pricd competitive we have decided to only offer a 6 months warranty on our processors.
If the lack of a longer warranty is a concern, we would encourage upon receipt to stress test the processor thoroughly to ensure it runs flawlessly, and if there are any issues they will be apparent straight away. Processors out of all the components in a system are the most reliable, with the lowest failure rates and this is also a contributing factor to why have decided to only a 6 month warranty.
6. What is the return policy if the processor doesn't work with my setup?
Please get in touch with us and we will help resolve any issues that you might have.
7. Is thermal paste included in the package?
Yes, each processor will come with thermal paste enough for 1 application. Our thermal paste is very good and therefore saving you a little money on the thermal paste purchase.
8. How do I know if this processor is better than the one I currently have?
There are countless resources for example YouTube.com where you can search your processor model and compare it to any model that may be of interest at the resolution and use case that you intend to use it. This will give you an impartial outlook.
9. Can I overclock this processor?
Overclocking the processor voids our warranty. It is advised to not overclock as not only is it more inefficient but the power and performance doesn't always scale as these processors are very advanced and are by design, designed to boost performance when power and thermals are reduced, which is the opposite to overclocking. This process is known as undervolting. Undervolting involves reducing the CPUs power by manually boosting its clock frequency, not only is doing so perfectly safe but also more power and thermal efficient. Check out our blog post on undervolting and get an insight in to how this process works and how you can unlock free performance as well reducing overall system temps.
10. What is the base and boost clock speed?
The base clock of a processor is the standard clock frequency that it will operate in all situations. The boost clock speed is an estimated number to which the processor will boost to given the right power and thermal conditions.
11. Is this processor good for gaming or content creation?
All our processors are to a degree very good for gaming but for content creation relies more on the number of cores and threads that a processor has and this is ultimately decides how well the processor will perform in these tasks.
12. Can I use this processor for streaming and multitasking?
As question 10, the more that you demand from a processor, the more power it will need to have, so it is best to ensure that you are picking the right processor for your needs. There are really good guides on YouTube.com as to how processors perform in any given task. As well as countless subreddits on Reddit.com to help you make the right decision.

17. Do you offer installation services or bundles with other PC components?
We do not offer installation services so we request that you research the installation process as much as possible to become familiar with the whole process. We do not offer bundles. All items listed our site are available standalone, so we do not offer a bulk or bundled discount.
