If you feel that a 30-day warranty is not long enough to warrant a purchase, our guidance is to rigorously stress test the processor as much as your cooling allows, using applications such as Prime95 & OCCT to establish that your processor functions as it should. Doing so will give you lots of peace of mind with your purchase and this is something that we would strongly encourage that you do upon installation.
Another reason for only offering a 30-day warranty is that errors and failures appear very early on and 30 days is some ways a plenty enough time in figuring this out. Moreover, processors are the most reliable component in a PC due to their intricate design and the cutting-edge precision involved in their manufacturing. So although a 30-day warranty may not be for everybody, 30 days is plenty enough time to establish whether a processor functions without any errors under the heaviest of stress tests. And, if your use case is fairly light/moderate i.e. gaming/streaming, then knowing that your processor is able to function under very high loads will give you confidence with your purchase.
